Cabin Cowl, a Mini Skein Knitting Pattern by Christine Long Derks.
The Cabin Cowl uses Log Cabin technique and basic idea but turns it on its side for a more modern look. The pattern can be knit with 12 mini skeins of yarn (each approx 28 yards) for a total of approx 336 yards. Use mini skeins or use sock yarn leftovers from your stash or your favorite sock yarn skeins.
Skills needed are cast on, knit, picking up and knitting stitches, bind off. NO PURLING at all!

12 mini skeins (or left over yarns in different colors) of approx 28 yards (25.5 meters) each.
